What to Do If You Lose Access to the Email Associated with Your HealthCare.gov Account
If you no longer have access to the email address you used to create your HealthCare.gov account, don’t panic! There are some steps you can take to regain access to your account and ensure that you don’t miss out on important health insurance information.
1. Try to Recover Your Email Account

If you’re unable to recover your old email account, you can simply create a new HealthCare.gov account using a different email address. When you create a new account, you’ll be prompted to provide your personal information, including your Social Security number.
3. Contact the Marketplace Call Center
If you’re having trouble creating a new account or recovering your old one, you can contact the Marketplace Call Center at 1-800-318-2596. A representative will be able to help you access your account and make any necessary changes.
4. Seek Help from a Licensed Agent
If you’re still having trouble accessing your HealthCare.gov account, you can seek help from a licensed agent. Agents are available to help you with all aspects of the health insurance enrollment process, including creating an account, choosing a plan, and enrolling in coverage.
5. Don’t Miss the Open Enrollment Deadline!
The Open Enrollment Period for 2023 health insurance plans is from November 1, 2022, to January 15, 2023. If you miss the deadline, you may have to wait until the next Open Enrollment Period to get health insurance coverage.
